Texas truck accident results in fire on the road
With so many cars on the road today, especially large trucks transporting a wide range of items, drivers of all vehicles need to be cautious and stay safe. A negligent driver can cause a car accident that can result in a great deal of property damage, pain and suffering or even the death of a loved one.
Recently, a serious road accident occurred in Northern Texas when, according to witnesses, a car hit a propane truck and a fire resulted. While both drivers fortunately did not sustain injuries, the occurrence could have resulted in a fatal trucking accident. Drivers and passengers involved in such vehicle crashes often suffer injuries if not worse fates as a result of negligent driving.
In this case, it is believed that the car that crashed into the truck was traveling at high speed to move ahead of another vehicle when the driver lost control. The fire that broke out reportedly looked like a large fireball on the road. Together, the local assistant fire chief and gas company were trying to end the blaze, but eventually decided to let it burn out on its own.
Should a car accident occur, the family of the victims may endure medical expenses or worse yet, funeral expenses that should ultimately be compensated if the situation warrants it. If you or a loved one has been the victim of an injury-causing car accident, particularly if it was caused by the fault of another, it is important to seek legal advice.
